The biggest fixture in world football, Barcelona vs Real Madrid, was earlier scheduled to take place on October 26th and was cacelled due to political unheaval in Catalunya. It was reported that nine separatist leaders from Barcelona were sentenced to between nine and 13 years in jail earlier this month. It had resulted in violent clashes between police and protestors in Barcelona, not far from the Camp Nou stadium.
